Severity : High

Description: This control ensures that the OCI databases is deployed in private subnet. Using private subnets for database system ensure that access to the database can only be from within the internal architecture, following security best practices.

Remediation Steps:

When creating a new database, ensure that that subnet it is being launched in is a private subnet.

Important:

  •  The subnet for DB system cannot overlap with 192.168.16.16/28, which is used by the Oracle Clusterware private interconnect on the database instance.
