Description: This control ensures that On Host Maintenance configuration setting is set to Migrate for all VM instances. A Virtual Machine instance's availability policy determines how it behaves when there is a maintenance event where Google must move your VM instance to another host machine. The Virtual Machine instance's maintenance behavior, which determines whether the instance is live migrated or stopped when there is a maintenance event.

Remediation Steps:

Perform following to set host maintenance migrate option :

1. Sign in to GCP Console https://console.cloud.google.com.

2. Go to Compute Engine

3. Go to VM instances

4. Click on the Specific VM

5. Click Edit

6. Scroll down to On host maintenance drop down and select Migrate VM Instance

7. Click Save
