Description: This control ensures that Azure standard pricing tier is active. This enable threat detection for networks and virtual machines, provide threat intelligence, anomaly detection, and behavior analytics within the Azure Security Center. Enabling Azure Security Center standard pricing tier allows for better security assessment with threat detection provided by the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC), advanced security policies, adaptive application control, network threat detection and regulatory compliance management.

Remediation Steps:

Perform following to enable alerts notification to administrators :

1. Login to Azure Portal using https://portal.azure.com.

2. Navigate to Security Center.

3. Select Pricing & Settings.

4. Select Pricing tier.

5. Select the Azure Security Center standard.

6. Select Save.
