Comodo Valkyrie

Use Case

Enterprise customers who have deployed Comodo Valkyrie Endpoint Protection want to protect their endpoints against high and critical severity malware threats detected by BlueHex Secure, industry's first real-time Deep Learning Platform for Cloud and Network Security.

Integration

BlueHex Secure appliance detects known and unknown malicious payloads in network traffic; including EXE, PDF, DLL, MS Office, ZIP, etc. The Comodo Valkyrie integration enables customers to update the Comodo Endpoint Protection deployed on their endpoints for malware detected by BlueHex Secure. The BlueHex Secure appliance automatically uploads malicious threat samples it detects in the network to the Comodo Valkyrie File Verdict system. If Valkyrie also flags the uploaded sample as malicious (based on its own verdict engine), Valkyrie updates the Comodo Endpoint Protection deployed on endpoints with the threat's IoCs/signatures to protect endpoints against the impending threat. BlueHex Secure integration with Comodo Valkyrie is fully automated through the use of customer's Valkyrie API key and does not require any manual intervention.

Configuration

  1. Provide your Comodo Valkyrie API key to Blue Hexagon Customer Support at support@bluehexagon.ai, and await acknowledgment.

  2. Validate by comparing threats in BlueHex Secure Portal and threat submissions in the Valkyrie portal.

Comodo Valkyrie only accepts portable executable (PE) files under 25MB in size. If Comodo Valkyrie fails to accept the BlueHex Secure file submission, the BlueHex Secure Portal will indicate "Tried to send to Comodo...failed".
